Thank-You for Voting for David Sinclair

A big thank-you to all of you who got out and voted for David Sinclair and voted against the corruption and illegal acts of DA Geoff Rushlau. Although we were unsuccessful in removing the criminal district attorney, we came very close - the margin was only 812 votes, about 1%. Your votes mattered and Knox County, the seat of the DA's Office, voted for Sinclair overall, along with Sagadahoc County.

Both the city seats of the DA's Office - Rockland and Belfast - voted overwhelmingly against Rushlau, with a margin of about 10% in Rockland and 9% in Belfast. It's apparent that those who are nearest to Geoff Rushlau are all too familiar with his misconduct and criminal behavior. It is unfortunate that uninformed voters and an unfavorable political climate made the difference between a fresh start, and four more years of injustices and victimization of Maine citizens.

In the meantime, if you are or become directly aware of any of the many instances of DA Geoff Rushlau's misconduct and/or criminal acts, please report Rushlau immediately to the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar.

Keep good documentation and make records whenever possible. In the State of Maine you do not need permission from another party to lawfully record them, and recent federal courts have found that American citizens have an absolute right to record law enforcement.

If we make a greater effort to expose the unlawful and shady operations of DA Rushlau, we may be able to get him out of office before the next election and ensure he never represents any office in this state ever again. Working together, we can end Rushlau's victimization of innocent Mainers and make our judicial system fair and just.

Thank-you again for voting for David Sinclair, voting for fairness and justice, and against corruption and political misconduct.
